Beautiful pictures, a few original ideas, but nothing new if you often read bridal magazines or already have one or more bridal "coffee table books." Nice, but not earth-shatteringly so.

I was actually in the market for a beautiful coffee table book. I hadn't seen anything on Amazon, and randomly found this in the bargain bin at the Sunflower Market grocery store for $8 yesterday. Although I'm not planning a wedding, I couldn't pass this book up. I work on campaigns and the information is useful for planning any sort of reception or party (so that's how I justified this purchase to myself.) The book is well written and is full of gorgeous photos. Thank god, it's not one of those "do this by week number X," it's simply a book that gives practical advice for layout of spaces and working with vendors.
