"SET YOUR WEDDING TO MUSIC" is the definitive wedding CD. It features 18 exciting updated productions of classical favorites and popular wedding standards plus fresh new original songs for your special moments. The CD includes the "The Wedding Song", with a fresh new Celtic influence and an exquisite vocal. There's a lush instrumental version of "Con Te Partiro" (the Andrea Bocelli/Sarah Brightman hit) with a full orchestral string arrangement, featuring solo guitar (this is becoming a favorite bridal processional) and "Sunrise, Sunset" in 4/4 time - a great new contemporary vocal arrangement you'll love to dance to!

Also included are wedding songs featured on major TV soaps such as the 1997 Emmy-winning song of the year from "The Guiding Light" (requested by tens of thousands of fans & never before available), wedding favorites like "Unforgettable" and "Because You Loved Me" and several other classical favorites, among them, Pachelbel's "Canon in D", "The Bridal Chorus" & " The Wedding March", with 'sound-track' contemporary vibe. There are outstanding selections for the first dance, cutting the cake, unity candle-lighting ceremony, special toasts, and more.

World-renowned songwriter/producer Gloria Sklerov, winner of two Emmys (with 5 nominations for TV love themes and wedding songs) and her co-producer, Barbara Rothstein, a professional songwriter with international record, film and TV credits, have produced an amazing wedding CD, offering unique arrangements, orchestrations and performances by Grammy and Emmy Award-winning professionals. These selections have been played at thousands of weddings, even the most lavish. "SET YOUR WEDDING TO MUSIC" is perfect for planning your wedding music program with bands, DJs &/or coordinators as well.

5Set Your Wedding to Music  Aug 04, 2000
This CD is a perfect mix of songs that I can use for my wedding. There's a gorgeous Celtic version of the Wedding Song (which I love). My favorite is "Con Te Partiro" which I may use for my entrance as I walk down the aisle. This instrumental version is wonderful. "Sunrise Sunset" is amazing: it sounds so contemporary & yet so emotional. I think it's a great Father-Daughter dance (I will probably dance to that with my Grandfather). Another great alternative is "Because You Loved Me" and that's done beautifully too. I could go on and on. This is not just a typical group of love songs bunched together. There are classical pieces, beautifully played and orchestrated (including one of the best versions of "Here Comes the Bride" I've heard), great new songs for a unity candle ceremony, cutting the cake, first dance etc. (Everyone I know is in love with "At Last", sung by Etta James and that's on the album too). I really love this very special collection of wedding music. Even the booklet that comes with it is special. It gives you great ideas on how to use the music. If I could buy only one great wedding CD, this would be the one.

3Soapy-songs  Dec 12, 2001
I bought this album to play in my home for our wedding vow renewal. My husband's family hails from Scotland, so the unique Celtic production of The Wedding Song was our immediate choice for processional. It was the only song we used. I personally loved Etta James' "At Last". The rest of the album was strictly average. A couple of songs were written for the afternoon soap opera "The Guiding Light". These were really cheesy. I'd rather loan it to a friend than encourage them to buy it.

2Too cheesy  Apr 02, 2002 By J. Shakes
I'm not sure why anyone would be interested in this item. If you're looking for original, out-of-the-ordinary songs for a wedding, then it's not appropriate, because most of the recorded songs are the classics. If you're looking for great new renditions of the classics, look elsewhere -- the ones here are cheaply produced. The book contains a list of songs, but then again that information could be found on the web or provided by any DJ. There are a couple of songs on the CD you might not otherwise think of, but they're too cheesy, at least for my taste.

5A "Must Have" For Planning Your Wedding  Oct 17, 2001
I received "Set Your Weding to Music" as an engagement gift. When I played the CD I was swept away by the classic and elegant selections and the rich beautifully orchestrated selections presented in this CD gem.
We had already decided to use live music throughout our wedding. We changed our minds and interlaced selections from the CD such as "The Wedding Song" and "Pachelbel's Canon in D-1" for the prelude. For the processional we used the instrumental "Conte Partiro" and of course the beautifully arranged "Bridal Chorus" for my walk down the aisle.
In addition to our band we played some of the lovely and romantic love songs during the reception.
We really feel this CD added a warm and loving mood to our wedding. I highly recommend this classic CD to anyone planning a wedding, any style, any place, anywhere.

55 stars plus!!  Feb 26, 2001 By C. Ziel "Happy Camper"
I am a newly wed groom and we enjoyed this CD so much, I wanted to come back and give it a plug! I can't say enough good things about it. It's anything but elevator music!!! We took the advice on the CD booklet and played THE WEDDING SONG before the ceremony and it was amazing. Everybody was moved. We used CONTI PARTIRO for the processional and that record sounded like Andrea Bocelli himself was going to start singing any minute. That's how great that instrumental sounded. By the time we played CHAPEL OF LOVE, right after the ceremony, when we were walking back down the aisle, the music had everyone out of their seats applauding. It was great. AS for the other songs, SUNRISE SUNSET is real contemporary, like Sting himself arranged it, and COMING HOME is as fine a song as I've heard anywhere. We owe our thanks for this great wedding music CD.
