5A Must Read For Any Silver Anniversary Celebrants  Dec 28, 2005 By Ane Mulligan "V.P./Sr. Editor, Novel Rocket"
Susan Downs, Kristy Dykes, Sally Laity and Carrie Turansky serve up four poignant tales of Wedded Bliss? As four couples' silver anniversaries approach, they wonder: when had their love changed? Where did they grow apart? More importantly, can they find that love again?

Facing situations that unfortunately happen in life, each couple manages by seeking God, to get back on the right footing. The well written stories are touching, occasionally humorous, but always thought provoking.

I enjoyed this book thoroughly and look forward to reading more by these talented authors.

4After 25 years, is marriage on the rocks?  Dec 24, 2005 By Vickie McD.
WEDDED BLISS? is a 4-n-1 anthology of the true-to-life stories of four couples on the verge of their twenty-fifth anniversary who have problems that at times seem too big to overcome. Just like real married couples, the couples in this anthology face difficulties and temptations and must choose what is best for themselves and their marriages.

As a reader who loves a good romance, I was skeptical about reading a book about long-time married folks, but I was pleasantly surprised. Each story held my interest and was engaging and heart-tugging. Having been married over thirty years, I could easily put myself in some of the situations covered in these novellas and could understand the depth of emotions and difficult choices facing these couples.

New author, Carrie Turansky, does an excellent job with her debut novella. Whether you're single, newly-wed, or have been married twenty-five years or more, you'll be encouraged and entertained by WEDDED BLISS? and learn that a good marriage is worth fighting for.

4Entertainment with Substance  Dec 17, 2005 By MaryAnn Diorio "Novelist and Poet"
Storms strike marriage in every phase, but when four women face the storms of their lives as they approach their twenty-fifth wedding anniversaries, they find themselves searching their souls in unexpected ways.

As you identify with Debbie, Felicia, Bess, and Tessa, you'll discover things about yourself that may make you laugh or may make you cry. One thing is certain, however. You'll come away with a deeper understanding of the meaning of marital love, an understanding that may turn your own marriage around.

If you're looking for a good read that not only entertains but offers substance, buy this book.

4What if your "perfect marriage" isn't as perfect as you thought?  Feb 19, 2006 By RebeccaB
Romance. Conflict. Resolution through faith. I can't ask for more in inspirational fiction, and I found it all in Wedded Bliss? by authors Susan K. Downs, Kristy Dykes, Sally Laity and first-timer Carrie Turansky. Characters...forty-somethings to whom I can relate...encounter marriage and family problems as four couples face their twenty-fifth anniversaries and discover that perhaps their lives aren't as "perfect" as they thought. Four different stories, four different couples, four different "problems." But, each one finds their solution through soul searching and a strengthening of their faith. I love inspirational romance, and this novel is a great example. I highly recommend it. Congratulations, ladies, and please keep writing.

4Cleaning the Rust from a Marriage  Jan 21, 2006 By Terri L. Gillespie "Terri L. Gillespie"
Each story tucked within Wedded Bliss? truly captured the marital angst caused from the wear and tear of life. Every couple approaching a quarter of a century, or longer, of marriage has experienced crises, temptations or uncertainties never imagined when they stood at the altar.

Large and small decisions can have lasting impacts on a marriage. Downs, Dykes, Laity and Turansky are not afraid to examine the rust that can accumulate in our marriages over the years-parts we weren't aware of, didn't think we needed or were afraid to look at.

Each story crafts hope for the reader. The authors present realistic solutions, not platitudes.

A must read for the newly and not-so-newly married.
